FIFA President Gianni Infantino has said that U.S. President Donald Trump will join him in presenting the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy to the tournament winners.

Axar.az reports that Infantino made the remarks in an interview with Fox & Friends.

“We will be together with the president enjoying the final and handing the trophy to the winner, of course,” Infantino said.

Asked whether they would present the trophy together, he replied: “Of course, we are together all the time.”

The World Cup is being hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, with 48 teams participating for the first time in the tournament’s history. The final will be held on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium) in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
