Iran says 5,000 people killed in US-Israeli attacks

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said around 5,000 people have been killed during US and Israeli attacks on Iran.

Axar.az reports that Araghchi made the remarks while addressing the 52nd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

“We have neutralized US military bases and facilities by striking them. There is no contradiction between defending our rights and striving for peace. We know the consequences of war, which is precisely why we attach importance to peace,” he added.
