Yemen’s armed forces said they carried out 1,417 precision and direct strikes over the past 24 hours, neutralizing around 800 militia members, either killing or wounding them.
Axar.az reports, citing Ajel News, that according to the statement, more than 190 armored vehicles, combat trucks, and transport and supply vehicles were destroyed or disabled.
The official spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, Colonel Majed Al-Nazili, said the operations were conducted using warplanes, drones, field artillery, and rocket launchers. The strikes targeted militia gatherings, reinforcements, fortified positions, sources of fire, armored vehicles, combat equipment, and drone launch sites.
He added that the strikes disrupted militia movements, prevented them from sending reserves to the frontlines, and thwarted any tactical gains in the field. The operations also destroyed fortifications and firing positions.
On the eastern front, Yemeni units continued to sweep hostile positions and expand their control, successfully securing new tactical field sites.
In Taiz, the forces repelled ongoing waves of attacks, while airstrikes targeted militia positions and reinforcements with concentrated strikes, which the statement said inflicted heavy losses in personnel and equipment.
