4.9-magnitude earthquake hits off Turkiye's Datca coast

A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Datca district in Turkiye's Mugla province.

Axar.az reports, citing Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the earthquake occurred at 11:25 a.m. local time (12:25 p.m. Baku time) at a depth of 8 kilometers and approximately 189 kilometers from Datca.

No casualties or damage have been reported.
