Drone hits Turkish oil tanker near Istanbul strait

A drone struck the Turkish tanker Altura, which was carrying 140,000 tons of oil, 26 kilometers from the Istanbul Strait.

Axar.az reports according to Turkish media, following the impact, the massive vessel began taking on water and issued an emergency distress call.

It was stated that all 27 Turkish crew members are in good condition.

The incident occurred 26 kilometers from the Istanbul Strait, and it remains unclear whether it was an attack.
