The Israeli Defense Forces eliminated two senior members of Hezbollah’s Communications Unit overnight in southern Lebanon.

Axar.az reports that according to the IDF, conducted a targeted strike in Beirut, killing Ayyoub Hussein Yaacoub, a senior figure in Hezbollah’s Communications Unit. Previously, Yaacoub held a key position in the group’s rocket unit, playing a central role in fire management and participating in directing launches toward Israel throughout Operation Northern Arrows. He was also involved in force buildup and strengthening Hezbollah’s rocket capabilities.

In addition, Yasser Mohammad Mubarak, another senior member of Hezbollah’s Communications Unit who also held a position in the rocket unit, was killed in the strike.
