US begins rescue operation for pilots of downed F-15

The United States has launched a search-and-rescue operation to recover the two pilots of an F-35 fighter jet that was shot down in Iran.

Axar.az reports, citing Axios, Iranian state television channels called on civilians in the area where the jet was downed to search for the crew members, and said whoever finds them will be rewarded by the government.

It should be noted that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for shooting down a U.S. F-15 fighter.
