UK expects no US retaliation over Iran stance

The United Kingdom does not expect any retaliatory action from the United States over its position on the Iran war.

Axar.az reports that British Defense Secretary John Healey made the statement in an interview with Sky News.

He said that despite reports of a U.S. review of allied support for the war, London is not concerned and does not expect any response measures from Washington.

The minister also noted that the United Kingdom has supported U.S. operations as requested and continues to meet its obligations within NATO.

"We played our part in defending our interests and our allies... We've also supported some of the US operations in the way that the US has asked us to," Healey said.
