Pentagon says 'all options on the table' over Cuba

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has said the Pentagon is considering a range of military options regarding Cuba.

Axar.az reports that Hegseth made the comments while responding to questions about a possible US military operation and how long it could take to “reestablish order” if such a decision were made by US President Donald Trump.

“All I would say is options, options, options. Our job is to present options at different scales depending on where the commander-in-chief and the president of the United States wants to go,” Hegseth said.

When asked whether a “capture and kill” scenario involving Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel remained under consideration, he replied: “All those options are on the table.”
