6.7 magnitude earthquake shakes part of Indonesia

A 6.7-magnitude earthquake has been recorded off the coast of Indonesia.

Axar.az reports, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, that the epicenter was located about 46 kilometers southeast of the city of Palu on Sulawesi Island, which has a population of around 282,000.

The quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.

No information has been released on casualties or damage, and no tsunami warning has been issued.
