US and Iran to sign memorandum in Switzerland on June 19

A meeting between U.S. and Iranian delegations to approve a memorandum of understanding will take place on June 19 in Burgenstock, in the canton of Nidwalden, Switzerland.

Axar.az reports that Pierre Alain Elchinger, spokesperson for the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made the announcement.

The diplomat said that the ministry had been in close contact with the United States, Iran, Pakistan, and Qatar over the possible signing of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran in Switzerland.

He added that the signing ceremony of the document is planned to be held in Burgenstock.
