Ubisoft co-founder Claude Guillemot has died in a plane crash in France.

The well-known businessman was killed when the Cessna 421 aircraft he was piloting crashed near the city of Rennes while he was traveling to a meeting of the La Baule club.

The 69-year-old entrepreneur was flying the aircraft himself. His flight instructor also died in the crash.

It should be noted that the businessman who died in the accident was one of the five brothers who founded Ubisoft in 1986. The company went on to become one of the world’s largest video game producers. He also served as CEO of Guillemot Corporation and was a member of Ubisoft’s Board of Directors.
