Pakistan: Seven killed in twin roadside blasts in Pakistan

In Pakistan, seven people were killed and three injured in twin roadside blasts in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province today.

Axar.az informs, citing foreign media, the first explosion, caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), struck a passenger van in the Marka Bera area of Bannu district, killing five people.

A second blast occurred shortly afterwards at the same site, targeting people involved in rescue efforts and killing two more people.

No group immediately claimed responsibility.

Security forces sealed off the area and launched an investigation.
