A day of mourning has been declared in the Kyiv region for the victims of Russia's missile and drone attack.

Axar.az informs, citing Ukrainian media, that the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, made the announcement on Telegram.

As a sign of mourning, Ukraine's national flag will be flown at half-mast across the Kyiv region, and entertainment events will be restricted.

It should be noted that the number of people injured in the massive missile and drone attack on the Kyiv region on the night of August 5 has risen to 44, while 17 civilians were killed.
