Turkiye’s referee committee chief detained over forgery

Turkish Football Federation Central Referee Committee Chairman Ferhat Gundogdu has been detained.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that he is accused of falsifying official documents.

Seven other members of the Central Referee Committee have also been detained on the same charges.

According to the report, the detentions are part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
