Mine collapses in Turkiye’s Soma district

A private mine has collapsed in Soma district of Manisa province, Turkiye.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that seven miners were trapped under the rubble following the collapse.

Two of them have been rescued, while rescue operations are continuing to reach the remaining five miners.

It should be noted that 301 miners were killed in a fire at a coal mine in Soma on May 13, 2014.
