Pasinyan: Armenia and Turkiye to establish diplomatic ties soon

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is confident that Armenia and Turkiye will establish diplomatic relations in the near future.

Axar.az reports that he made the remarks while answering questions from participants at the third World Armenian Summit 2026.

One participant asked whether the Armenian Armed Forces could ensure the security of the country's borders, given concerns that Turkiye does not recognise Armenia's territorial integrity.

Pashinyan said that although the two countries have yet to establish diplomatic relations, he is confident that they will do so in the near future, recognising each other's territorial integrity, sovereignty and borders.

He added that he had no such concerns and that there were no objective facts indicating the existence of such a problem.
