The first congratulations to Pashinyan came from the US

The US State Department congratulated the Armenian people on the parliamentary elections in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the information was posted on the website of the State Department.

Department spokeswoman Ned Price also called on everyone to respect the election results.

Washington welcomed the opinion of the OSCE observation mission on the election.
