Two earthquakes hit Turkey

Two earthquakes were registered in Turkey.

Axar.az reports the statement came from the country's Emergency Management Agency (AFAD).

According to the report, the quake was registered at 07:00 local time in Izmir with a magnitude of 5.1. The epicentre was reported off the coast of Urla. The Kandilli Observatory said the magnitude of the quake was 5.3.

According to the observatory, shortly after the 5.3 magnitude earthquake, another 4.1 magnitude earthquake shook the region.

There are no reports of damage or casualties.
