Russia struck railway infrastructure in western Ukraine

Russian forces carried out further strikes overnight on railway infrastructure in western Ukraine used to transport military cargo from Europe.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that Russia’s Defense Ministry made the announcement.

“Strikes continued against railway infrastructure facilities in western regions of Ukraine used to transport military cargo from European countries,” the ministry said.

The ministry also claimed that Russian forces struck a dry cargo vessel and a ferry linked to the Ukrainian military at the port of Chornomorsk.

“At the port of Chornomorsk, a dry cargo vessel and a RO-RO ferry carrying cargo intended to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit,” Russia’s Defense Ministry said, describing the results of overnight strikes on targets in Ukraine.
