Russian President Vladimir Putin's goal is to divide Ukraine into several parts.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from the head of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov.
"Putin must take into account the situation after the occupation of Crimea. For this, he wants the Ukrainian state to be destroyed. This is Putin's number one task. It aims to divide the country into two or three parts with the help of internal panic. "If Putin does not achieve his goal in this way, he will take up arms," Danilov said.
According to him, Ukraine is ready for war and has 261,000 servicemen in the armed forces:
"Together with the security and defence sector, that number is about one million. In addition, there is a civil society that is ready to protect the country. And these are millions. "
