The U20 European Championship continues in Caorle, Italy.

Axar.az reports that the first champions in women's wrestling were determined today.

Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg), who defeated all her rivals ahead of schedule yesterday and reached the final, faced Sevim Akbash from Turkiye in the decisive match. Dominating from the beginning to the end of the final, our compatriot won with a huge advantage (9:1) and became the European champion.

Thus, our wrestler won the gold medal in her third competition this year. It should be noted that Gurbanova previously won the first rating tournament and the U23 European Championship.
