German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett for an hour and a half.

Axar.az reports that German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit wrote about this on his social network account.

The spokesman said that the main topic of the meeting was the results of Bennett's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow yesterday.

"Scholz and Bennett have decided to work closely on this issue. The common goal is to end the war in Ukraine as soon as possible. We will work hard on it."

It should be noted that Bennett went to Berlin to meet with Scholz after meeting with Putin in Moscow for about 3 hours yesterday.
