US President Donald Trump has declared a state of emergency in Kerr County, Texas, due to a natural disaster.

Axar.az reports that the head of the White House wrote about this on the social network.

The American leader noted that the declaration of a state of emergency will allow emergency services to immediately allocate the necessary resources.

It should be noted that heavy rains and the flooding of the Guadalupe River have created a catastrophic situation in the region in question.

According to the latest data, at least 59 people have died and more than 850 people have been evacuated as a result of flooding in central Texas.
