Switzerland allocated aid to Armenia

Switzerland will allocate approximately 1 million dollars to help border communities in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that the Armenian media reported on this.

It is noted that the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency signed an agreement with the UN World Food Program in Yerevan. According to this agreement, Switzerland will allocate 960,000 Swiss francs ($1 million) to the UN Program for assistance to Armenian border communities.

The work will be carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.

Werner Tut, regional director of the Swiss Agency for the South Caucasus, noted that their goal is humanitarian aid.
