Putin creates a "gas union" with the Turkish states

The leaders of Russia and Kazakhstan, Vladimir Putin and Gasim-Jomart Tokayev discussed the creation of a gas union with the participation of Uzbekistan during a meeting held in the Kremlin.

Axar.az reports that the press secretary of the President of Kazakhstan, Ruslan Jeldibay, was informed them about this.

"We are talking about the establishment of a "tripartite gas union" to coordinate steps in the transportation of Russian gas through the territories of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan," he said.

According to Jeldibay, Putin and Tokayev have agreed on conducting tripartite consultations with the participation of experts for a rational solution, taking into account the interests of all parties.
