Earthquake in Khoy: 73.5 thousand were damaged

73,500 houses were damaged as a result of the 5.9-magnitude earthquake that occurred on the night of January 28 at 21:44 local time in the Khoy region of West Azerbaijan province.

Axar.az reports that Jafar Barzgar, head of the Housing Fund of West Azerbaijan province, informed about this.

He said that the inspection teams are continuing their activities in the regions and the number of damaged houses may increase.
