Angelina Jolie visited the Rafah border crossing on the Egyptian side on Friday as part of a humanitarian trip for Gazans.

Axar.az informs, citing Al Arabiya, the American actress reportedly took part in the visit to review conditions of injured Palestinians from Gaza and assess ongoing efforts to deliver aid to the besieged enclave.

Jolie was accompanied by a US State Department representative as well as the governor of Northern Sinai and Egypt’s immigration minister to take part in international humanitarian efforts and to support Egyptian American efforts to ensure the delivery of aid.

Jolie is known for her humanitarian efforts and has in the past shown extensive commitment to humanitarian issues around the world.
