Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah Sisi.

Axar.az informs that the Egyptian media reported on this.

It was reported that the leaders discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip and agreed to make serious efforts for a ceasefire in the enclave.

The parties also discussed Egypt's efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the enclave.
