Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, with the Order of the Second Class "For Service to the Fatherland".

Axar.az reports that Putin signed the relevant decree on this.

Kadyrov was awarded this award "for his great contribution to the strengthening of Russian statehood, the country's defence capability, and the socio-economic development of the Chechen Republic."

In addition, Magomed Daudov, the chairman of the Chechen parliament, was awarded the III degree "For Service to the Fatherland" order for his great services in the development of parliamentarians, active legislative activity, and many years of honest work.
