The Parliament dismissed the President of Hungary

The Hungarian Parliament accepted the resignation of the country's President Katalin Novak.

Axar.az reports that instead of Novak, the ruling parties, which have a 2/3 majority in the parliament, nominated the 67-year-old chairman of the Constitutional Court, Tamash Shujok.

Tamash Shujok's candidacy was accepted unanimously and he became the new president of the country.

It should be noted that the president of Hungary is elected by the parliament for a five-year term.
