On March 19, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia summoned Russia's chargé d'affaires in this country and presented him with a diplomatic note stating that an employee of the embassy with diplomatic status was declared persona non grata.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the representative of the Russian Embassy that Estonia does not intend to tolerate the activities aimed at the independence and sovereignty of Russia and considers it necessary to express this very clearly. It was stated that the hybrid operations of the Russian special services against the security of Estonia should be stopped," the information stated.
