NATO begins major exercises in the Mediterranean Sea

NATO will conduct exercises to improve air defense.

Axar.az reports that the "UK Defense Journal" published information about this.

Exercises named "Ramstein Flag 24" will take place from September 30 to October 11 in the west of the Peloponnese peninsula of Greece.

The exercises aim to improve air, sea, and land defense tactics among 13 allied nations. They will involve more than 140 aircraft, including fighters, ground forces, naval forces, and special forces. The exercise is being held to test high-tech tactical air defense and improve missile defense strategy.

Commander of the NATO Air Force, General James Hecker, said that the exercises are designed to combat future threats.
