Former RPP chairman Kemal Kilichdaroghlu may be arrested.

It was reported that Kilichdaroghlu's trial was held on the allegation that he insulted the former Minister of Ecology and Urban Development of Turkiye, Erdogan Bayrakdar.

The RPP leader was charged with the crime of "publicly insulting a public official".

It was noted that the words addressed to the other party by the accused do not correspond to the lack of expression.

In court, K. Kilichdaroghlu was asked to be imprisoned for 1 year and 2 months to 2 years and 4 months.

The process was postponed until May 30.
