If the Russian army crossed the front line and Kyiv asked us for help, we would consider sending ground troops to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that French President Emmanuel Macron said this in an interview with "Economist".

"I have a clear strategic goal: Russia cannot win in Ukraine. If Russia wins in Ukraine, there will be no security in Europe. Who can say that Russia will stop there?" - he said.

Macron noted that other Western countries should not abandon this option "a priori", as they ruled out sending tanks, long-range missiles and aircraft in the summer of 2022, but now all these are given to Ukraine.

It should be noted that Macron did not specify which front line he intends for Russia to cross.
