RPP leader Ozgur Ozel made a proposal to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the creation of a new ministry.

Axar.az reports that the party chairman himself made a statement about this.

"I suggested to Mr. Erdogan to create a ministry related to the earthquake. Its name can directly be the Ministry of Earthquake or the Ministry of Natural Disasters and Earthquake Preparedness. Mr. President watched it carefully and took notes. As you know, it is under his authority to create new ministries according to the Constitution. I don't know what step he will take. I would like to create a ministry. Even if it is proposed, I would appoint a deputy minister from our party to the said ministry," Özel said. It should be noted that a few days ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and RPP Chairman Ozgur Ozel had a one-on-one meeting.
