The railway between Armenia and Georgia was restored with the help of Russia.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk.

"During this difficult period, Russia came to the aid of the Armenian people and restored the railway connection with Georgia, which was broken due to a natural disaster, in record time," he stressed.

According to him, the first test train departed on June 14 on the restored track.
