A referendum is possible in the process of border delimitation with Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at a meeting with the residents of Zangezur's Sinuayr village.

He said that he accepts the situation where he gives 100 sq.m from here and buys 100 sq.m from there - an exchange offer. In this case, the government cannot decide anything - it will be necessary to hold a referendum.

"We must understand correctly: we are not forming a new border with Azerbaijan, we are restoring the borders of the Soviet era," he said.

He assured the villagers that the authorities will not give a single meter of their territory to anyone.
