9 countries joined the sanctions against Iran

Nine European Union (EU) partners and candidate countries, including Moldova and Ukraine, have joined EU sanctions against Iran for its "military support for Russia".

Axar.az reports that the foreign policy service of the European Union stated this.

"Candidate countries North Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Ukraine, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as European Free Trade Zone states Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein joined the decision adopted by the EU Council on May 14 to impose sanctions against Iran for military supplies to Russia." , - it was noted.
