Russia is expanding the field of CSTO

CSTO countries will work on the formation of the Eurasian security architecture.

Axar.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this at the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

"Apparent threats to Eurasian security come from different directions, but in most cases, the source of these threats is the aggressive line of NATO, which wants to privatize and subjugate all issues related to ensuring stability in our vast space. The alliance creates "quartet", "troika" and other small-scale structures that are "the embryos of military blocs", he said.

Lavrov noted that in the same context, the parties agreed on "increasing cooperation with the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and implementing joint practical projects" within the framework of Eurasian interaction.
