Lavrov's reaction to Yerevan's withdrawal from the CSTO

The procedure for Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO was not discussed at the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Union member countries, because Yerevan did not send documents related to a possible withdrawal from the organization.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"The procedure for Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO was not discussed as the relevant request was not received. The possible consequences of such a step have not been discussed," he said.
