Israel is preparing to give 8 Patriots to Ukraine

The United States, Israel and Ukraine are negotiating the supply of 8 Patriot air defense systems to Kyiv.

Axar.az reports that the contract has not yet been finalized, but it is likely that it will involve sending Patriot systems first from Israel to the United States, and then to Ukraine. Thus, Israel wants to replace 8 "Patriot" units, which have been in use for 30 years, with more modern systems.

"If such a transfer is carried out, it will be a serious change in Ukraine's defense capabilities," the report said.
