The time of the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President of Iran, Massoud Pezeshkian, has been announced.

Axar.az reports that the representative of the Presidium of the Iranian Parliament and the Presidential Elections Organizing Committee, Alirza Salimi, said that the swearing-in ceremony of Pezeshkian will take place on July 21 at the session of the Iranian Parliament.

According to Iranian legislation, two weeks after the swearing-in ceremony, President Pezeshkian must submit the composition of his government to the Majlis.

It should be noted that in the second round of the presidential elections held on July 5, Azerbaijani Turk, reformer Masud Pezeshkian was elected president, defeating his opponent Said Jalili.
