The swearing-in ceremony of the new President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, will be held on July 30 at the meeting of the Iranian parliament.

Axar.az reports that Hojatul-Islam Alirza Salim, a representative of the Presidium of the Iranian Parliament and the Organizing Committee of the Presidential Elections, said this.

According to Iranian legislation, two weeks after the swearing-in ceremony, President Pezeshkian must present the composition of his government to the Majlis.

It should be recalled that in the 2nd round of the presidential elections held on July 5, Masoud Pezeshkian, a Turk from Azerbaijan and a member of the reform movement, was elected president after defeating his opponent Said Jalili.
