The foreign ministries of Iraq, Turkiye and Syria are negotiating to create a suitable atmosphere for a meeting between Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Bashar al-Assad in Baghdad.

Axar.az reports that "Al-Akbar" published information about this.

It was stated that the organizational issues may take a long time and it is not possible to give an approximate date for the negotiations. However, this does not mean that there are any obstacles regarding the meeting of the leaders of the two countries.

It was emphasized that before the meeting between the leaders of Turkiye and Syria, a preparatory meeting can be held between the representatives of the three countries to agree on the agenda and the most controversial issues.
