An unexpected ban from Russia to Armenia

Russia has stopped accepting Armenian fruits and vegetables since July 15.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the letter sent by the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control Service of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) to the head of the Food Safety Inspection of Armenia.

The official explanation is that since April, the presence of pesticides in Armenian fruits and vegetables is high.

The letter was sent on July 4 with the signature of the deputy chairman of "Rosselkhoznadzor" Karmazin. The letter is accompanied by an 18-page list of supplier companies banned from supplying their products to Russia, which includes all fruit and vegetable producers.
