The British Foreign Office has called on citizens of the country to leave Lebanon on any flight amid the threat of war with Israel.

Axar.az informs that the ministry's statement stated that the potential exit routes of the British from Lebanon may already be limited or closed.

It said that citizens should leave the country using any commercial flights that are still available.

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said tensions were high and the situation could deteriorate rapidly.

It should be noted that the governments of the United States, Italy, Canada, and Germany also called on their citizens to leave Lebanon.
