Ukraine has the right to self-defense and can strike Russian territory.

Axar.az reports that Peter Stano, the representative of the European Commission on foreign policy, said these words while commenting on the events in the Kursk region of Russia.

According to Stano, international law ensures that Ukraine has a legal right to defend itself, especially to strike at an aggressor on its territory:

"The EU continues to fully support Ukraine's right to legitimate self-defense against Russian aggression and its efforts to restore its sovereignty and territorial integrity."

It should be noted that the Ukrainian army entered the territory of Kursk region, took control of several villages and is currently continuing to advance.
