80th air assault brigade joins Kursk offensive

The 80th Air Assault Brigade, one of the best-equipped and fastest brigades of Ukraine, joined the fighting in the Kursk region.

Axar.az reports that "Forbes" published information about this.

According to information, in a video circulating on social networks, a T-64BV or T-80BV tank, an UR-77 engineering vehicle, as well as PDM (BTR-80) and American-made Stryker wheeled transport vehicles pass by a Ukrainian mortar brigade:

"From the context, it is clear that the video shows the first moments of a serious attack by Ukraine against Russian positions. Such a combination of ex-Soviet and ex-American vehicles is available only in the 80th Air Assault Brigade. "The participation of the 80th Air Assault Brigade, one of the best Ukrainian brigades, shows the scale of the operation to capture the Kursk region."

The publication said that Ukraine's current operation is different from others:

"It involves at least three brigades of up to 2,000 soldiers each: the 22nd and 88th Mechanized Brigades and the 80th Air Assault Brigade."
