For the fourth day, the Russian authorities have launched a repression machine in the Kursk region, where fighting with Ukrainian troops continues.

Axar.az reports that "Mash" Telegram channel reported on this.

"The Federal Security Service detained a 48-year-old resident of the village of Oktyabrskoye, who filmed the results of Ukraine's strikes. According to intelligence services, a video recorded by a local resident was published on one of the Ukrainian Telegram channels. "During the interrogation, the detained person said that he allegedly acted on the basis of an assignment and was promised money and citizenship of one of the NATO countries to fulfill the assignment," the report said.

The channel notes that the issue of starting a criminal case under the article "espionage" against the detained person is being considered.
